VND 12,495 billion is the number that Sun Group poured into Cat Ba. Determined to turn Cat Ba into a “little Maldives of Asia”.
AND THIS IS CAT BA IN THE FUTURE:
1. Cat Ba becomes the first zero-carbon tourist island in Vietnam. All residents and tourists will use environmentally friendly means of transportation such as cable cars, electric cars, bicycles… The electric vehicle system will cover the entire Island.
2. Build more Phu Long – Cat Ba cable car route. Along with the existing Cat Hai – Phu Long route, people will move from Hai Phong city straight to Cat Ba Island by cable car (no more waiting for the ferry).
3. Central square – the largest island square in Vietnam. There will be a walking street with a spacious sea view and a chain of services on both sides.
4. International standard artificial beach, expected to become “Hawaii of Cat Ba”. This is also where brilliant fireworks nights and festivals with unique shows gathering world-famous artists will take place.
5. Green will cover the project with a landscape axis of green trees and public water surface surrounding and weaving in every item.
6. In particular, the project will invest in wastewater and garbage treatment. This place will have a system to filter seawater into fresh water and a system to collect rainwater and treat it, meeting the demand for fresh water on the Island.
