The adjustment and increase in sightseeing fees was approved by the People’s Council of Hai Phong City at the meeting at the end of July and issued Resolution No. 06 regulating the collection rates, collection, payment, management and use of fees to visit famous places. scenic spots in the area. Many sightseeing routes simultaneously increased fees
Subjects of application of the resolution are domestic and foreign organizations and individuals visiting scenic spots in Hai Phong; Agencies, organizations and individuals related to the collection, payment, management and use of fees to visit scenic spots in this city.
In Do Son District, the fee to visit the scenic spot Hon Dau Island remains the same as the fee prescribed in Resolution 45/2018/NQ-HDND which is 20,000 VND for adults and 10,000 VND for children. from 6 years old or with a height of 1.2 m or more.
In Cat Ba archipelago (Cat Hai district), the entrance fee to Hoa Cuong cave in Gia Luan commune collected by Gia Luan Commune People’s Committee remains the same at 30,000 VND for adults and 15,000 VND for children from 6 years old. age or have a height of 1.2 m or more.
Entrance fees to the remaining two routes, including Cat Ba National Park and bays of the Cat Ba archipelago, simultaneously increased. Among them, the highest is up to 100%.
Specifically, the entrance fee to Cat Ba National Park increased to 160,000 VND for adults and 80,000 VND for children aged 6 years or older or with a height of 1.2 m or more compared to the old level of 80,000 VND and 40,000 VND. Dong is stipulated in Resolution 45 of 2018.
Resolution No. 06 also specifically stipulates fees for 3 sightseeing routes in Cat Ba National Park (previously not regulated in Resolution 45 of 2018). In particular, the route from the center of the Garden – Kim Giao peak – Ngu Lam peak – Trung Trang cave, the fee is 120,000 VND for adults and 60,000 VND for children from 6 years old or with a height of 1.2 m or more.
For two routes, Ninh Tiep – Tien Duc cave and Phu Long – Mangrove forest – Thien Long cave, the same fee is 80,000 VND for adults and 40,000 VND for children from 6 years old or with a height of 1.2 m or more. go up.

For overnight accommodation services on bays in the Cat Ba archipelago, the new fees are: 400,000 VND for adults and 300,000 VND for children 6 years old or 1.2 m tall or taller. if staying 1 night (old rate is 300,000 VND and 250,000 VND); 600,000 VND and 500,000 VND if staying 2 nights (old rate 450,000 VND and 350,000 VND); 650,000 VND and 550,000 VND if staying 3 nights (old rate 500,000 VND and 400,000 VND).
Cases eligible for a 50% reduction in sightseeing fees from Hai Phong include: people enjoying preferential cultural enjoyment policies ; people with severe disabilities; Elderly; The subjects are poor households and ethnic minorities in communes with particularly difficult socio -economic conditions; experts studying landscapes; Students of universities, colleges, professional and vocational schools in Hai Phong area organize annual extracurricular tours by the school and register with the direct management units of scenic spots.
Regarding the management and use of fees, Resolution No. 06 clearly states that, for fees collected by the People’s Committees of Gia Luan and H.Cat Hai communes, 100% of the collected fees will be paid into the state budget . For fees collected by Cat Ba National Park and Do Son Historical Relic Management and Tourism Service Center, 100% of the collected fees are left for the fee collection unit to manage and use. For fees collected by the management board of bays in the Cat Ba archipelago, the fee collection unit is allowed to keep 21% of the fees collected, 79% is paid to the state budget.
