According to the Department of Tourism, Culture and Information of Do Son District, Hai Phong City, during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, Do Son Tourist Area is expected to welcome about 250,000 – 300,000 domestic and international visitors. Accordingly, updated on August 31 and September 1, the number of tourists coming here is about 150,000, of which Dragon Hill International Tourist Area attracts more than 100,000 visitors.
Do Son District has many entertainment spots visited by tourists such as: Vung Huong Beach, Zone II Beach, 295 Beach, Dau Island… It is expected that during the remaining holidays, the number of tourists coming to Do Son will continue to remain high, mainly from the inner city and some neighboring provinces.

Not only Do Son, this year, with the long holiday and favorable weather, many domestic and international tourists have chosen Cat Ba as a destination for relaxation and sightseeing. According to statistics, in the first 2 days of the holiday, Cat Ba welcomed about 30,000 visitors.
Notably, this year the Dong Bai – Cai Vieng Ferry Management Board has mobilized 5 out of 11 ferries, including 3 newly built BayView ferries and 2 old ferries, to continuously transport people and tourists from Cat Hai Island to Cat Ba Island and vice versa. Therefore, although the number of visitors to Cat Ba Island has increased, congestion has occurred but only for a short period of time.
